Empire Bar and Billiards has been Lawrence’s favorite place to play pool, grab a drink, and relax with friends for more than a decade, and we have taken all of that to a brand new location. Same community feel. Same great tables. Same laid-back energy that keeps people coming back. We built a fresh space where you can shoot, hang out, unwind, and make even more memories. Whether you are here to practice, compete, or just enjoy a night out, we have a spot waiting for you.
We have spent more than twenty years in the bar and billiards world, and the way we run things is pretty simple. Do it the right way. Treat people well. Make it fun. Empire has always been about a friendly, relaxed vibe with great tables, good drinks, and the kind of place where you walk in for a game and walk out with a few stories. Leagues
Our leagues and tournaments keep the community playing all year long. Empire Bar & Billiards offers APA, BCA, and USAPL leagues as well as weekly tournaments and open tables every day. If you have been thinking about joining or want to try something new, this is your sign. All levels are welcome. Come for the competition and meet some great people.
APA League
5 to 8 Players per Team
APA is a great fit for players who want fair play, steady competition, and a friendly community. The format keeps matches moving and makes it easy to improve your game. All skill levels are welcome, and you will always find good people and good nights on the table.

USAPL offers a fun, modern league experience with simple structure and a relaxed vibe. Matches move at a smooth pace, and players of all levels feel right at home. It is organized without feeling strict, making it a great option for anyone who wants competitive play and a laid-back night out.

Bar matches half the pot. The win count shifts depending on how many people show up, which keeps the pace exciting and the matches interesting. 9-ball brings a different kind of energy to the room. The game tends to move quicker, which gives the tournament a smooth momentum from start to finish. It is easy to follow and exciting to play whether you are seasoned or just getting started.

We have turned the old location into something completely new. Say hello to the Empire Pubcade and Venue. It is filled with retro arcade games, pinball favorites, a full bar, and a relaxed, nostalgic vibe that makes it easy to have a good time with friends.
Along with all the games, the Pubcade features a large event space that can host up to 150 people. It is the perfect spot for wedding receptions, shows, customer appreciation events, graduations, Greek events, birthdays, corporate gatherings, and any celebration that deserves a fun, memorable atmosphere. You can bring your own caterer, enjoy drinks from our full bar, and build an event that feels exactly how you want it.
